A Slow Few Days…
After finishing the night shift for a few days I have had little chance to do anything, but sleep. I hope I can get more into a rhythm and make the best use of my time off with regard to my big “vision” although what that is I don’t know exactly.
One or two events over the weekend have made me realise that I want to get on and create something new and fast! I am really in the mood to get a new website up & running, which revolves around one of my interests. I don’t know where to start content-wise, but I have found that just starting is the important part. It all unfolds from there.
So the tip for the day is to just start something and get into it….. As long as it’s legal of course!

Rob,
Nice move, good to see the blog developing. I had a brief scan through and will think about ideas for content when I get more time to actually think. Too much is happening at the moment with buying a house, work and generally in life. All I can say is that between 1999-2001 I was skint, had no savings and only debts and my girlfriend at that time was half way across the globe in Taiwan. I wanted to be with her but was trapped in the cage.
When I talked to a friend at work and found out that other companies were working in China I made the move. It was nowhere near my girlfiend - geographically (still took a day to travel to Taiwan from China) but it got me out of the cage and in the end opened all the doors. Starting a new life and working so hard all I could do was save money. I hope you can find ways to close the doors soon and only then can you move on to better things. Leave the Office is a good start and I hope it opens up new interests and new opportunities for you to apply your creative energy to get you where you want to be!
All the best for the New Year gov’!
