Well sometimes you have to change direction a little in order to be able to have any chance of progressing and this is the situation I find myself in now.

I have got myself a job, which will soon find me with far less financial concerns although hardly in spirit with leaving the office as it is a job working night-shift in a Telecoms company. Still it seems like it has room for me to develop new skills in emerging technology, which in a few years may mean I will be able to find employment in a far-off exotic location!

In the meantime I will have to put away as much money as possible and settle for a holiday around March or April 2007 to see Kan. This is the first time I feel I am actually taking care of a long term goal. It’s unusual for me to be thinking so far into the future!
