Action, Patience, Success.
This, I believe is relevant to anything in life, so in the context of the subject of making money online and not relying on a fixed income, I hope this will fire you up and take on the task of empowering yourself to live your dreams.
There is one word that makes all the difference here and that word is ACTION. It takes action to achieve success in your endeavors. Action is a tricky concept to understand because it is confused most of the time with doing. There can be no action until there is being and clarity of thought. Many things that we do in order to move forward with a goal is not very effective. How many times have you spent a whole day getting bogged down in the doing of one small task instead of taking care of the project as a whole?
There is nothing wrong with getting other people, maybe experts in a field that you are not to do things for you thus getting you closer to your desired goal. That is action. You didn’t waste time doing something trivial for little or no gain. You spend a little time planning exactly what was required to achieve the step and took the necessary action. Action by itself is very simple and requires no special skills. It is often the fear of the task at hand that masks what action is required and turns the task into an ordeal that needs to be faced. Picking up the phone or sending an email in order to get something done can be executed by anybody.
So, within the context of making money from the internet. What are your goals? Do you want to leave your job and make your money in your own way in your own time? Do you want to boost the income of your job, which you enjoy, but maybe doesn’t pay you quite enough? Do you just enjoy the internet and look at it as a fun exercise to see what can be achieved? This is the first question before you should start. It doesn’t take long to decide what you want out of it and once you know, you will then have an idea of what is at stake, if anything and can base the intensity of your actions on what you require from them.
I have mentioned before some things that have stopped me taking action in the past, like feeling that an idea won’t work or that people can’t possibly be interested in it. That is a prime example of the fear of taking action. What is the fear? It’s a bizarre stumbling block, but it’s what gets in the way for many people. Why put the time into something if you already believe people will not be interested? So you don’t even begin. What a tragic shame. You could have changed the world. Once you can see that there really is no limit to what you can achieve you find yourself coming up with all sorts of inspiring ideas and creatively start to succeed in your ambitions albeit over time.
You can do nearly all of your work like planning your website, writing the content, ideas for layout and what you aim to achieve with it before you even have a website. In fact before you even get to your PC. Once you have everything in place you can run it without too much work, setting up an automatic income stream from your initial investment in time. This frees up time to set up new ones.
There is a great deal of information on the web. There are many e-books detailing how you can make a lot of money. Have you noticed what these guys are doing? They are taking action, putting in the work first and then “actioning” that work in a directly focused way. Many people see these e-books as scams, but this is not strictly true. Many are not worth the money they cost because the information they provide is nothing new. However the information is not a lie. It is possible to make money from all the get rich quick schemes out there, except it will not happen quickly and you need to put in the kind of work that these people are putting in. The very e-book you are reading is the evidence of how to make money in this particular method. It‘s the promise that’s misleading, but that is all in your own mind. If you assess the facts, the person selling the e-book is legitimate in their actions. They just know that the majority of people want the success, but are not prepared to take action to acheive it. I say not prepared because there is no such thing as "Cannot". If you do not know how to acheive something, but you know that you want to acheive it, you will take action to discover how.
