Back in Paradise…

Allow me to indulge in some trivial posting for a while, although not trivial to me I can see that there may not be much for people to feel compelled to comment on. I am posting from my dream location once again. Sitting outside my room, so close to the sea and reading some of the latest comments here at Leave The Office.

Home From Home Sept 2007So now the blog becomes a little bit more of a personal travelog, except I’m not doing much travelling. I’m mostly relaxing, although my fitness regime always kicks in while I’m here, so arun on the beach before sunset followed by a healthy Thai dinner will see me right. For now I can smile in the knowledge that part of my dream is a reality; being here and soaking up the atmosphere. I’m sure it’s not everyone’s cup of tea here, seeing as it is very quiet indeed. If you like nightlife then this isn’t the place, but it suits me down to the ground.

I am living my bliss here, especially with my studio equipment in tow and the quietude to inspire composing my music. Time to get running on that beach.

Congrats Rob. Is this a holiday, or your permanent move. Sorry, I have not checked in for so long. Did you do the 30 day thing?

Be well.

Hi Michael I sent you an email. The way I look at it is this:
With respect to what I intend to achieve I am in the process of making this a permanent move. Will I return to the UK? Yes, in about 3 weeks time.

What then? Well I don’t know exactly, but what is important is that the process in motion and how it progresses is up to me.

I suppose this sums up the spirit of Leave The Office. Looking at it now I think I have progressed further than I realized.
Thanks for the comment.

Of course Mr Nomad…. I will oblige.

Update for today is that I am working on a list of what are the most important values to me, so that I can find out where my day-to-day focus is and thus the cause of my day-to-day results.

Once I get more organized I will make posts on this subject on my Neural Reconditioning blog, most probably. Also I am composing some music by the beach with my PowerBook Studio.

Be Well.

Hi Rob, nice blog. I’ve always wanted to see Southeast Asia, glad to hear things are very relaxed out there. I imagine the cost of living is quite cheap too! Maybe I will get to Thailand someday.

Thailand is a great place to visit. It really opens up your eyes to different pace of life, even in Bangkok, which is really busy. I hope you get to see it at some point.

Thanks for the comment.
