Deliberately Creating Good Fortune

Great Feeling Sunset

Luck Changes

The first week I started my new job I was invited to the office Christmas party. I had entered the company right at the point where Christmas takes over, even in this company which had a majority of non-Christian people working there. It’s a good time to start a new job I think, there’s not so much pressure because in my experience people just seem to do less work around this time and you can also get a feel for what people are like when their out of the office and partaking in merry making!

I knew my luck was changing because at that Christmas party I won a cool digital radio in the raffle. Not bad for someone who had only arrived 2 weeks earlier! It was a sign for me to just enjoy the situation I was in for however long I needed to be in it and feel certain about the fact that what I wanted to achieve was going to be achieved. I started on the night shift pattern soon after and I was working the nightshift on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Shortly after new year 2007 I booked my next trip to Thailand for April. I was able to use up half my leave days for the year and combining that with my off days between shifts I had a whopping 5 and a half weeks to sample some of my future dream life. As soon as the time off was authorized I booked the flight. Needless to say I had a great time and although it was a wrench to part with my love again, it felt good too because I knew I was closer to being back there for good.

I had gotten to the point where I hated Christmas, but from 2006 that changed. I had a reason to enjoy it again – a reason that had never gone away in the first place.

It’s a great feeling when you know you are creating your successes and living them. Deliberately creating instead of being at the mercy of what "Happens to you".

A no-nonsense way to get the results you want so SIMPLE, POWERFUL
and EFFECTIVE you can toss aside all other self-improvement programs
