I received my first comment on this blog! This has cheered me up no end. It proves that I am not just writing in vain. This little “breakthrough” makes me want to get on and transform some of my unfinished ideas into working web projects. One at a time of course! This coming weekend, after my first week back in the office I’m going to get down to it.

It’s the first time in quite a while that I will have experienced a weekend in contrast to a working week as I have been used to a weekend being like every other weekday when I wasn’t working and I won’t lose heart so quickly when a new idea of mine doesn’t start paying me immediately because I have a salary again.

Yes the weekends are again precious, so I won’t waste them. I will make them work for me! In two or three weeks time I’ll be working a shift pattern, which consists of nights and some weekends, so the new weekend philosophy will be short lived, but I will have frequent days off in between shifts and I can just treat those days like work days, but from home……. or Starbucks!.
