The Law Of Attraction
I have read a fair bit over the last few weeks about the Law Of Attraction, which seems to be the latest buzz phrase on the net, which is a little annoying because any mention of it may appear like jumping on the bandwagon, but instead of not mentioning it through fear of what people will perceive about this post I’ll post it because these are my words and I wish to write about my experiences of it, which will come in due course.
No doubt there are many people trying to cash in the notion that you can have anything you want if you "wish it hard enough".
The thing is though that the Law of Attraction seems to be nothing like that at all and whilst it’s something I have only been studying for a few weeks it resonates with alot of things I have had insights to and interest in for a number of years. At times here I will post about the Law of Attraction and if and how I am applying it to my life. I’m very excited about it. It seems to say something very real at a very deep level to me. I have always thought of myself as open to having my world turned upside down and it has been in a small way in the past, but I guess the proof of how open-minded I am will show over the coming weeks and months.
If I have the ability to maintain a solid level of commitment and trust in a process then I feel that the Law of Attraction could become a fixture at Leave The Office.
This subject is covered in an extremely down-to-earth way at The Neural Recon Report, where I share my personal experiences of the various ways in which I am applying new principles to empower myself and create the life of my dreams. Most of which are proving to be very effective in providing me with noticeable change.

Thanks for the comment.
I believe hard work is what we do when we are engaged in something that we do not enjoy. Nothing you enjoy doing can be considered hard work in my opinion, no matter how much it makes you sweat.
The secret is far from new. It’s as old as the universe itself, if age is relavent to the universe that is.
I think anyone who interpretes the LOA as wishing without hard work is not understanding the message, which I hope I can elaborate on as time goes on.

Rob,
I completely agree with you…If you are doing something you love, there is nothing “hard” about it. It’s not even considered “work” in my eyes.
I watched The Secret last summer and have been applying the principles to my life - which has made a full turn-around. To put it quite simply - I’m living my dreams!! The journey is amazing…

Why be reticent to write about the LOA? You clearly understand what it’s really about (not just that if you wish for something hard enough you will get it).
The more people talk about it, the more it will eventually be understood. Yes, people do talk rubbish about it, they watch the Secret and think it’s just about writing or visualising your desires.
But when you’ve watched the Secret many times, and when you’ve read the Abraham Hicks stuff and A LOT of the other LOA resources out there and have really sat down and tuned into EVERYTHING they are saying, and not just what seems easy, you realise that LOA is a vast all-encompassing concept that gives you the most important, precious and priceless things in this universe, peace and happiness. Of course I desire the wealthy lifestyle, but my life has been completely turned around by the LOA and I don’t believe I could ever be depressed again. I now choose the way I feel. That is unbelievably liberating and empowering.
I hope you keep writing about LOA Rob, your approach is fresh, intelligent and discerning.

Thanks for the encouragement Sally. It is more than just a personal journey for me. I would like to see everybody get this in their lives especially when I think of people people I know and people I have met who I know whose lives would be transformed.
I believe that by informing people in my own way about LOA and seeing life with a fresh perspective is part of the process for my own desire to be fulfilled.
I have found a new level of creativity with my music which feels like the expression for me to use as communication.

The Secret. After watching the DVD I realized it wasn’t “new”. Although it was an awesome DVD, I don’t find it to be 100% true.
“All the wishing without hard work won’t get you anywhere.”
I think I’m going to write about hard work..it’s truly what this world needs.
