I've just come back from Wales to find a leaking pipe had caused damage to my lounge ceiling and walls. 5 days later, I awake to find another leaking pipe has caused a great amount of damage to my dining room carpet. I've too taken the positive side - as long as teh insurance company are true to their word, I'll have two newly decorated rooms. The fact that I did them both last summer is neither here nor there - they will be decorated better than I could do, without me having to do the work. Yes I have some inconvenience, but the benefit will be far greater. It's also given me a kick to get our boiler replaced - it's old, and was on "the list" of jobs to do.
