Yes that saying holds alot of truths. The decision to be ready and take the step will lead you to the “how”. You'll never have all the “hows” before you begin.

Keep writing posts like this and you will push me in the right direction. I too know that what you have expressed in this post is correct.

Chris over at Nomad4Ever voices the same sentiments. He is looking back and giving advice though, having made the decision and taking action a long time ago.

Somedays seem clearer than others, but it does feel good to at least know where you want to be going rather than some vague idea. The vision gets clearer the more focus I put onto achieving the next step. Sometimes I find that by completing the next step a few more steps seem to get done by themselves.

I’m still yet to receive confirmation about a few things before I have a clearer idea of when I’m going, but it is now a definite matter of when rather than if.

Good for you! I am struggling with the same thing. I feel for the past year or two I have been hanging on the fence about moving to NYC. In my heart I have felt this to be the logical next step to becoming the Rupert Murdoch of the internet I think that feeling is when your desire reaches a tipping point and becomes stronger than any possible fear that you have. I think this is the work and why we study motivational cds and meditation techniques. It is the visualization that stirs the flame inside of you to chase your dreams no matter the cost.
